A systematic review found only 4 peer-reviewed studies on singing bowls; improvements in mood and some physiological measures were reported.
What don't we know?
There are very few studies and the designs are weak; the authors do not yet recommend singing bowl practices. The studies used real bowls; bowl-like tones generated on the device are not linked to this evidence.
Wording we use in the app: Singing bowls are a traditional listening practice; evidence on their effects is very limited.
